DAY 329 ON OUR WAY HOME VIENA LOSES ANOTHER TOOTH

Saturday, 22 February 2014 DAY 672 329 MOON 23 WANING 49%
We escaped Saco Grande. Today would have been a beautiful day to catch the sunrise at the beach, but there will be other sunrises to catch. We only have one flight with our name on it. Well, actually one today, one tomorrow, and one the next day. We said goodbye to a lot of things as André drove us away in the rental car. Bye-bye monkeys. Bye-bye bus stop. Bye-bye SESC. Bye-bye Cacupé. Bye-bye popsicle place. Bye-bye Shopping Floripa. Bye-bye BeiraMar. Bye-bye bridge. Bye-bye Floripa. Check-in for our flight went smoothly. The TSA Brasil put a quick end to my new project – Operation Gun Control. They allow whiskey, but no water or weights. Funny. The Florianópolis airport has a beautiful backdrop of the green jungle hills. Viena and Ezra are reading their little Brasilian comics. Today we fly to Sao Paulo and wait for 12 hours overnight in GRU international airport, kind of like “a night at the museum”, but instead, a night at the airport.
