Ezra and Viena have both been reaching out for attention all day long. One of the problems with living here is that Dwana does not feel comfortable going out with the children by herself, except to the local markets. So, I am always involved with giving everyone outside activity. I am very comfortable going out by myself and running the trail and going to Centro with the kids. So, when I am gone in the morning on a run for 4 hours into Centro to buy cashews and Castanas da para, and other things, everyone else is inside. And when I return home, the day has already become too hot to venture for great length outside and there is not really a hospitable place like a park or playground nearby like in Madrid. We think only of air-conditioned places and that means money for the bus and usually money for things spent at the mall. So then, we are inside all day or at least Ezra Viena and Dwana are inside, and our place heats up inside and becomes stuffy. Last night was so hot and stuffy. So, with constant hot and stuffy, lack of exercise, Ezra and Viena go bonkers. They usually trade off days. Today was Ezra’s day to go bonkers. He has exhausted all the batteries with his train. He is dressed for Sunday school n his yellow buttoned shirt and plaid shorts. I wish we had a shaded yard. Go play in the yard. Someday.
