I took a ride into Centro. I am definitely improving with my bus catching skills and price-checking purchases and finding the right store at the right time. I was able to zoom around and gather all them items I was looking for and still make it back in the early afternoon. Lots of people were out doing Christmas shopping. The day was sunny. I had eaten lunch before catching the bus so I did not need to take in any of the Centro street food. Most of the Centro street food is not very appealing. I was able to find cashews for 35/kilo and Brasil nuts for 45/kilo. A brief heavy rain storm sent people for shelter, but the day belonged to the sun. When I came home, we went to our field in the jungle and ran and played fútbol.
