wake up, wonderboy
i haven’t been very well
feeling kind of seasick, tryin to follow your contrail
you’re flying miles above my head
while I’m dreaming underwater sleeping in a whale
ALPHAVILLE
The guys last night partied all night long in the warehouse parking lot outside our window. Regardless, I slept the best I have slept since we took apart the creaky squeaky bed. Now we just sleep on the floor with a small futon frame. So much better. What a difference a big makes, or in this case – no bed. Yesterday’s run was so good. This morning Ezra awoke and bellowed “chocolate milk!” I gathered my running shoes and was out the door with Ezra being watched by the Kindle. I guess I could have taken him outside with me, but Why? I ran through Saco Grande and Joao Paulo and along the Beira Mar, past Angeloni and to Shopping Beira Mar. I caught the #221 omnibus back without difficulties and was back at home eating oatmeal and raisins in a room with toys scattered everywhere. Bon Dia. So, off we went to the 57-year-old playground to play with the rocket-ship. “Dad, if this rocket-ship was real and was going to the moon, would you go?” – Ezra. The little black puppy dog went missing – escaped again out the front gate – this time for good, escape from Saco Grande. The whole neighborhood was up in arms!!??!!! We went with Andreon the bus to Canasvieiras … I mean Ingléses. Walking on the dunes of Ingléses felt good. Different but the same as Joaquina. The weather did not make the water inviting. We just sat on the dunes and talked while Ezra and Viena played in the sand.
